Welcome. I’m Deirdre Wenzel, a certified yoga therapist and experienced yoga instructor specializing in supporting people in midlife and beyond.
I offer therapeutic group classes and workshops, as well as private one-on-one sessions tailored to your body, your health history, and this stage of your life. Whether you’re navigating physical changes, managing chronic conditions, or dealing with ongoing stress or disrupted sleep, my work is designed to meet you where you are.
Yoga Therapy can be especially supportive for common concerns in midlife and later years, including persistent pain, joint and mobility issues, neurological conditions, anxiety, major illness, and healthy aging. Through gentle, adaptable practices that support the nervous system, we also work to improve sleep quality, restore energy, and help you feel more steady and resilient in daily life.

If your low back feels tight, achy, or easily strained, this gentle yoga therapy series is for you.
Each session includes 15 minutes of education and discussion, followed by a slow mindful mat practice designed to release tension, build strength, and protect your spine. Over four weeks, you’ll learn how to move safely, prevent future injury, and support your overall well-being.
